about us
At WLR we offer the most comprehensive group of services for runners, endurance athletes, and athletes who run.
I have been running competitively for over 25 years. I have been treating and training runners for close to 15. I created WLR as my opportunity to combine these experiences to provide athletes with all of the tools they need to succeed. Ultimately it is the marriage of the two things I am most passionate about: running and helping athletes achieve their goals.

metabolic testing
VO2 Max Test
- Our VO2 max testing will inform you, accurately, just how aerobically fit you are!
- We utilize the newest available technology to benchmark your aerobic capacity
- Information can guide training intensities and be tracked to evaluate progress across training blocks
Acyclic Testing
- Designed to identify limiters (lung, heart, or skeletal muscle) of an athlete’s physiology
- This submaximal test measures how the body reacts to sustainable loads
- At the end of the test, you will know your primary limiting factor (e.g., lungs, heart, or muscle) and will be able to plan your training accordingly
Resting Metabolic Rate
- Resting metabolic rate testing determines how many calories your body burns at rest
- this provides you with the information required to plan a successful weight loss, weight gain, or weight maintenance plan.
gait assessment
- Uses video analysis to identify biomechanical abnormalities
- We observe your gait pattern from all directions to ensure the most thorough assessment
- In a detailed report, we will provide actionable steps that you can take to optimize your running mechanics making you stronger, faster, and less prone to injury
rehab and recovery
Physical Therapy
- In-person physical therapy will focus on the most comprehensive assessment possible
- Treatment will be designed around your needs and expectations
- A personalized self-management plan will help further restore and maintain your optimal function
Blood Flow Restriction Training
- BFR is a technique that combines low intensity exercise with blood flow occlusion that produces similar results to high intensity training without the muscle damage and residual soreness
- The aim of BFR training is to mimic the effects of high intensity exercise by recreating a hypoxic environment using a cuff
- BFR has been used in athletes and recreational training to obtain muscle hypertrophy
- In the case of injury, it allows us to strengthen the area while working at a much lower, more tolerable intensity
Recovery Services
- Dry needling
- Cupping
- Soft tissue techniques
- Taping
- recovery services offered in 30 or 60 minute sessions to aid in your recovery and keep you training optimally
what our athletes are saying
"Without Limits Running is not just for highly skilled runners, it is for anyone looking to become a better overall runner. As a person who struggles with running consistency, having a coach has been a great asset to keeping me on track with my training. Coach Jeff keeps your personal needs (time, work/family life, past injury history, etc.) in to consideration when creating your programming. He is approachable and open to answering any/all questions you may have. As someone who has also done the metabolic testing, VO2 max testing, and the gait assessment as well, there can be a lot of information to process but it is all very useful. Jeff breaks all of the information down in a way that makes it all easier to understand and apply to your training. Working with him has been a great decision and one I highly recommend."

"As a competitive athlete, working with Jeff has been a huge step for my fitness both mentally as well as physically. I didn't even know I needed a run coach until advised to start! I have a background with anorexia, and with that mindset comes running for miles, which translates to calorie burn. A few short months with Jeff showed me the benefit of having more easy days than going the same pace daily.
From a last minute, first-time ultra, Obstacle Course Racing (OCR), to a Hybrid event like DEKA or Hyrox...Jeff understands the ambition and drive I have, works with every change in schedule that arises, and monitors possible injuries. He's humble and realistic, doesn't pretend to be a superhuman. He's also always up to talk shop or answer questions, which satisfies the nerd in me."
Katey W.
“I have been going to Jeff Fairman for various injuries over the last two years. As someone who is constantly trying to get stronger (and getting injured in the process), Jeff’s knowledge and compassionate care has helped me keep moving. I have struggled with lower back, neck, hip, and shoulder issues and he has been able to address all of my recovery needs. He is professional, intuitive, intelligent, and patient. Jeff is a kind and honest professional who finds fulfillment in helping others who I highly respect and recommend.”
