This Race has prize money for the top three male and female, not that it will effect me, but a few of you probably have a shot. Several of us did it last year, its a neat race through downtown Kinston. Fantastic representation by the W.O.L. crew for sure. Very impressed with everyone. I must say that I am extremely proud to be a part of this group!
Coach Clifford set a new course record in the 1/2 marathon, and was featured in the Myrtle Beach newspaper on Sunday, photo and everything! I will be walking/warming up from the hotel to the start/finish area. Therefore, I was considering leaving my truck in a parking lot adjacent to the start the night before. Roads will be closed in that area in the morning. Runners are welcome to drop extra clothes in my truck before the race and/or stash other stuff for after the race. If you are interested, please let me know and I will coordinate with you after dinner Friday night. I will be locking my truck 10-15 minutes before the race.
